Our first regional is over an done with. Now it's time to work on those shaft encoders!... And my throwing arm...

The first day of the Lake Superior Regional 2012 in Duluth is over. It's been all together, certainly, our best start since we began so many years ago. Here are a few highlights:

* We made our first practice match (a first for us)! We were the only robot on the field, however our bridge wedge wasn't working so we were stuck to drive about on our side of the court.

* Our bridge depressor finally did get working, but one snapped of mid-match. That was later repaired.

* With the help of Team 1816, The Green Machine of Edina, we were able to get our camera up and running.

* We spent some time along with other veteran teams helping our neighbors in the pit who were in need of some assistance.

Also, we're in the first qualifying match tomorrow, so quick to the field for us!

We're here! After the long adventure north and a curious incident involving the size of the bus, we are in Duluth preparing to rock this regional! As I type this, we are currently setting up our pit and preparing for robot inspection! More news to follow.
